Dzukou is a sustainable lifestyle brand that ships globally. Our products feature clean designs and are crafted from eco-friendly materials such as wood, bamboo, silk, linen, cotton, cork, water-hyacinth, and plant-based fibers. In our Handmade in India section, we curate experiential and artisanal products while also collaborating with craft communities for experimentation and innovation.
Our Vision
Indian craft communities face several challenges such as material depletion, climate change, natural disasters, poverty, and urban migration. We aim to boost their economic resilience through material and design innovation. Our vision involves co-experimenting and co-designing with these communities to empower them economically and bring out experiential products.
Our Story
Dzukou came into being unexpectedly. Prarthana, a Design PhD candidate at TU Delft, crossed paths with Lars, a founding partner at the architecture firm, Station-D. Their shared passion for sustainability in Design sparked the idea of collaborating and bringing experiential products to market. Over coffee and apple pie, they enthusiastically embraced the idea of establishing a company to experiment and collaborate with craft communities.

Prarthana is a Design for Sustainability afficianado. She holds a PhD in Design and went to school in Stanford. When not at work, she is either in nature, hiking, or traveling to find new communities.
Lars is a Dutch architect with a passion for designing sustainable villas. He is also a founding partner at Station-D Architects. Lars loves traveling in India and creating businneses with a cause.
Abhisekh is one of the first people to join Dzukou, with an enormous passion for marketing. With a B.Com degree, he is now the Ecommerce and B2B Marketing Manager of our team. He is the reason why all packages reach their destinations on time.
Abhigyan is our Supply Chain and Design Manager, He is also our part time model, He has a passion for climbing hills. He designs products for our latest products. His bonus talent is to make great coffee for us.
